CPR: Basic Life Support for Infants, Children, and Adults

Description

Through this class, participants will receive certification from the American Heart Association in basic life support focusing on adult, child and infant CPR as well as training for choking and proper use of an AED. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. This class is not intended for health care providers.

 

Children’s Community Pediatrics, in collaboration with Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, offers a wide range of educational classes. Our mission is to continually use education to improve and maintain the physical, emotional and mental health of children and teens.
