Virtual Breastfeeding Weekend Class UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg

This two-part, condensed class is taught by an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Discussion includes positioning for breastfeeding and correct latch, identifying baby's feeding cues, maintaining a milk supply and other practical information.  Additional topics include combining breastfeeding and working, expression and storage of breast milk, and use of breast pumps. To condense class time some topics are not covered within the virtual class that would have been in the in-person classes.  Instructors will supplement learning with additional resources being made available to the class participants. Partners are encouraged to attend both sessions.

To ensure delivery of the class book prior to the start of the series registration will need to be submitted 14 days before the first class.  Registrations are welcome after that date, but the arrival of the class may be after the series begins.
