Breastfeeding Class with UPMC Horizon

Prenatal classes and other select programs are CANCELLED

UPMC is committed to the health and safety of our patients, visitors, and staff. To decrease potential spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to limit traffic throughout the hospital and other classroom locations, we are discontinuing all prenatal classes and some other community education classes effective Monday, March 16, until further notice. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible. The credit card companies can take several weeks.

Instead of in-person prenatal classes, we are offering a free online learning program on childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Click here to register for this free e-class. Thank you for your understanding as we work to lessen the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community and especially for our expectant mothers, new mothers, and infants.

If your are not sure about Breastfeeding or how to support the Mom-to-be with her choice to breastfeed her newborn, this 3 hour class educates and answers some of those concerns. This class is for Moms-to-be and their support partner.
