BLS Instructor


The Center for Emergency Medicine offers a Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Course through the American Heart Association.  

In order to enroll in this course you must have a valid AHA BLS provider card.  Please bring this card to class. 


This course is taught in two parts: Part One is an online module from the AHA which will set the framework for becoming a BLS instructor (this must be completed prior to attending part two).  Part Two is the classroom skills portion which includes demonstration, hands on practice, and equipment troubleshooting training. 


The cost of this course is $200.00.  This includes: a Healthcare Provider instructor manual, a Healthcare Provider student manual, and a key that is required in order to access and complete Part One.  The instructor and student manual can be obtained prior to the class.
